General Practice Registrars (Trainees)

We are a recognised Post Graduate Training Practice and as such, have a GP Registrar attached to the practice of a year at a time. All GP Registrars are fully qualified Doctors who have worked for at least three years in hospital medicine before coming to us. Many bring new and special skills to the practice. We would hope that some of our patients would agree to becoming the Registrar's patients for the year they are with us. After that time, Registrars leave to become partners in their own chosen practice.

Medical Students

We are an undergraduate teaching practice for Southampton University and often have their students with us for short periods. We are most grateful to those patients who allow students to be present at their consultation, but realise that not everyone feels comfortable with this. You will be informed by the receptionist if a student is present and may ask for them to leave if you prefer privacy.
